We are one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines, with special relevance in the Spanish domestic market, as well as in France and Italy. Job Purpose Be an active player of the change management, manage control tools and indicators, all above to support the cost discipline and operations of Vueling Maintenance and Engineering department.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks COMPONENTS RETURNS & REPAIR MANAGEMENT:
Lead with MRO repair vendors for efficient components repair workflow, including cost, repair Turnaround time and Quality standards. Manage existing components repair agreements (Time & material, Fixed Price, Power by the hour). Manage the return workflow of unserviceable components from aircraft heavy maintenance and from line maintenance stations. Optimise own stock utilisation and return to service to avoid additional costs. Repair shop reports review, evaluation and acceptance, with support from Technical Services team if required. Ensure close coordination with Procurement teams. Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferable in Aeronautical) or in the following domains: Business Administration, Aviation Management, Logistics (with economics and project management skills). Experience At least two years of experience in this domain.Competencies Ability and willingness to develop herself/himself across the multiple disciplines of the aircraft Maintenance Supply Chain. Technological skills.
Good spoken and written communications. Good analytics with a solution-orientation and customer service mindset. Dynamic and flexible. Curious and hungry to learn. Creative thinking. Languages Fluency inSpanish and English. Other Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Strong Excel skills.Location Viladecans (Barcelona).
Level Individual Contributor 5 - TEC.
