Verify21 is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland with offices in Portugal and Spain. About the role This role is based on-site in Valencia, Spain. The candidate must be an EU Citizen and live in Valencia, Spain. It is an exciting opportunity to join a small team working on the most important thing in the world today.... Bitcoin. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and continually improve our back-end web-application (preferably Ruby on Rails)Responsible for API integrations with third party providers including other financial services Lead on implementation of best practices in testing and Dev Ops Own the backend development roadmapManage workflows with backend to integrate UI components with APIs and databasesRequirements: At least 5 years' experience working in a web platform-oriented software stackDemonstrated ability of project management & execution in software deliveryProduct-oriented developer, you care about the end user as if you had to use it yourselfDemonstrable commitment to self-development and continuous learning in the field.Preferable experience with technologies such as, but not limited to; Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL Git, Gitlab pipelineExperience using AI coding tools (Github Co-Pilot, Codeium, Code Whisperer etc.)Native level spoken and written EnglishExcellent references from employers that you are happy for us to speak withAbout you: You are hungry to learn and fast to executeYou care strongly about your product and its users You are a team playerYou have fun while we build cool stuffNice to haves: Curious about Bitcoin and the positive future it can bringExperience working within payments or financial companiesExperience working with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologyKnowledge of Heroku and Google Cloud PlatformsHiring Process: Submit CVPhone interview (30 mins)Skill assessment Phone interview with CTOFinal in-person interviewHired / Not hiredIf you answered yes to above, and would like to join our team, send us your application (your CV and cover letter) in English by clicking "Apply for this job".
