W hat you'll be getting up to:  We are looking to hire an Enterprise Services Engineer to join our global team in Technology.
This is a challenging, fast-paced and exciting environment, with plenty of opportunities to influence and grow the technology area.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Services Engineer to join our dynamic IT department.
This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, support critical IT systems and services, and contribute to the success of our organisation.
The Enterprise Services Engineer will also be driving consistency, operational excellence and an excellent customer service to our internal customers The key values that we strive towards in the Technology are: Ownership Continuous Improvement Mindset Trust Honesty Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for IT systems, infrastructure and services, including servers, networks and end user devices.
Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of IT end users systems and services, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues and vulnerabilities.
Configure, deploy and manage IT systems and services to support business operations, ensure scalability, reliability and security and promote innovation and efficiency.
Collaborate with other IT teams, departments, and stakeholders to implement IT projects, initiatives, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
Participate in the planning, design and implementation of IT solutions, including hardware, software and cloud-based services, to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
Document technical configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guidelines for IT systems and services, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation for reference and training purposes which will be used by other teams.
Assist with user training and support activities to help end users effectively utilise IT systems and tools, resolve technical issues, and optimise productivity and efficiency.
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to IT systems, infrastructure and services and apply knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to other IT team members, serving as a subject matter expert in specific areas of IT systems and services.
R equired Qualifications List of skills we think you need: Working knowledge in end user computing & networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS and SMTP).
Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network management and end user support services.
Working Experience with Google Workspace.
Working Experience with Service Management or Ticketing Tools.
Proven communication skills, written and verbal.
Able to address all levels within the organisation and has the ability to address conflicts constructively.
Ability to read & analyse business processes, procedures, training material.
Strong analytical & problem solving abilities.
Good understanding of Client server & web based application architectures.
Service oriented demeanour is a must.
Driving change and handling difficult situations.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in deploying and managing IT systems and services in a heterogeneous environment, including Windows, Linux, and cloud-based platforms.
List of skills we'd love you to have: Experience with Service Delivery, Incident Management, Change and Problem Management Process.
Experience with ITIL methodologies, end-to-end support and/or related practices.
