Apply Position: Nanny Location: Barcelona, Spain Work: Part-time, live-out Term: Long-term Start Date: ASAP Details of the Assignment A delightful American family, who are valued repeat clients, is in the process of relocating to Spain and is seeking a part-time nanny to care for their two children, aged 5 (girl) and 18 months (boy).
The family is specifically looking for a Spanish-speaking nanny, ideally who can also communicate in English.
They are looking for a nanny to take on complete responsibility for all child-related tasks.
Dad frequently travels for work, and at the moment, Mum is at home with the kids, with plans to return to work in the next few months once the family is settled.
Given Dad's frequent travels, the family is ideally in search of a nanny as a crucial support figure to Mum, essentially functioning as a third parent and working alongside their full-time housekeeper.
The ideal candidate for this role is expected to be nurturing, trustworthy, and capable, with proven previous experience working with a similar age group.
The family highly values someone who can instil good values, manners, and healthy habits in the children.
The nanny should also possess a great understanding of when to step in to offer support and when to step back, allowing the family space to bond and spend quality time together.
The family is specifically seeking a nanny who can establish and maintain a consistent everyday routine for the children and teach them Spanish.
This role is tailor-made for a professional nanny who seeks to seamlessly integrate into a loving household for a long-term commitment.
