A Day in the Life of a Director of Product Management
As a product director, you will be an integral part of their product team leading planning, executing, and delivering successful product updates, features, and new add-on modules. You will take responsibility for driving the next phase of the company product evolution.

So, how are they going to keep you busy?

Gathering market intelligence and competitive research. What problems do customers need to solve and what drive value for them?

Inserting yourself into industry groups as a thought leader.

Making it clear to the customers that the company's solution platform is the clear choice for evolving their wholesale and enterprise offerings.

Lead a team to create and develop compelling content and sales enablement collateral. This includes battle cards, demos, presentations, training, and one-pagers.

Educate sales and customer-facing teams with market challenges, trends, and how our client empowers operators to address each one of them.

Lead product marketing in internal and external communication. Building the required communication channels: newsletters, webinars, customer forums, etc.

Customer engagement. Join customer meetings from time to time to hear 'firsthand' what the customers expect from the company.

Thought leadership and positioning our client as a leader in the wholesale and industry.

Working with R&D in delivering high-quality product releases.

Maintaining a simplified product catalog and pricing.

What will make you eligible for this role?

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering.

A business degree is a plus.

8+ years of professional experience in product management.

Experience in the wholesale and/or enterprise messaging space (SMS A2P, RCS/RBM).

Willingness to travel extensively, engage, learn, and leverage your past to intelligently evolve the future.

Experience that will be an advantage:

Telecom experience including rating, billing, fraud management, roaming, clearing, virtual number management, and CPaaS.

Excellent collaborator, capable of leveraging playbook guidelines for execution, while driving creative solutions and innovations.

Create the vision for the company's products and drive product strategy and initiatives to support the business's overall goals.

Lead and coach others to produce optimal teams, performing at a high level of efficiency and quality.

Working with R&D team, plan and deliver product releases on time with risk mitigation and reporting on key metrics.

Regular executive-level reporting on productivity metrics, quality metrics, and improvement plans to address challenges.

Periodic organizational reviews, with associated improvement plans.

Ensuring individual performance assessments are undertaken regularly, with associated improvement plans.

Market research: industry trends & drivers, customer needs, and competition.

Establish and maintain product roadmap and work with customers to commercialize & prioritize.

Develop and maintain price book.

Provide sales (RFPs, proposals, QBRs) and marketing (content/campaign development) support.

Provide quarterly analysis of ongoing product performance (trend, quality, other).
