How to contribute to our vision Establish appropriate Quality control of delivered goods and services according to business and product risks. Issue complaint management process of detected non-conformances and run root cause analysis.Communicate to supplier and quality management.Conduct Quality inspections at supplier site or incoming inspections. Closely cooperate with component engineering.Provide technology support for materials or products and elaborate testing specifications.Evaluate and report on supplier performance and support definitions of effective measures.Participate in quality meetings with suppliers.What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. Enhanced knowledge and expertise of the global supply quality network by organizing and leading a global community of Supply Quality Engineers sharing know-how and training on LSF and welding.Product and Process Qualification: Be the technical Lead in multi-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts.Be a key authority in improving suppliers and supporting critical technical issues by being a creator and owner of a commodity/technology network.At least 5-8 years professional experience in an area of supplier quality management, procurement and LSF and welding.Experience performing supplier qualifications, product/process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global quality-assured and cost-effective supply base. Experience in APQP4Wind and PPAP is an advantage.Experience in leading projects and running virtual multi-functional teams in an international environment. Self-starter, driven and self-reliant; your organizational, strategic, analytical thinking, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.Extensive knowledge in welding of carbon steel and the fabrication of large steel components. IWE certification preferred. FROSIO certification preferred. NDT level 2 certification preferred. Familiarity with EN ISO 3834, EN 1011 series and EN ISO 1090 requirements. Willingness to ask questions, proactively get in touch with others to communicate, be open-minded, look for problems proactively and mitigate, have personal drive and growth.Fluency (writing and speaking) in English, with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
