.Business Analyst - Custom Web ApplicationsJob DescriptionNippon Gases is one of the leading companies in the industrial and medical gases business in Europe. We service more than 150,000 customers and have a diversified involvement in broad industries such as healthcare, food, manufacturing, metallurgy, chemical products, electronics, and energy.We are looking for a proficient business analyst/project manager for the web applications area.As a business analyst:The employee will support and improve existing web applications, manage issues and enhancement requests from business users, set priorities, and create functional (and even technical) documents to share with the development team.In some cases, she/he will be responsible for leading projects to create or extend custom web applications for different regions in Europe. It will be required to coordinate activities with other IT teams and external technical partners.This person will sometimes have the responsibility of reviewing code quality, and that's why technical skills are desirable or beneficial. The applications will be created by programmers from inside/outside the company.The Business Analyst will be located in Madrid and will report to the Custom Business Applications Manager.Job RequirementsDegree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum will be valuable.Fluent English (B2/C1 level).Native Spanish.Italian language knowledge will be valuable.At least 5-8 years of IT and business work experience in similar functions.The following technical skills will be considered:Object-oriented programming.Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework).Familiar with custom web developments, especially based on Microsoft technologies and platforms: (C#, MVC, .NET framework, Web APIs (REST/SOAP), Azure DevOps, Azure services, Power Platform, SPA, HTML, JavaScript, Vue.Js, .NET Framework 4.8 / .NET Core, API and Web services (both REST and SOAP), Mobile development (Xamarin / MAUI) – nice to have.Personal Skills:Proactive, result-oriented, thinks in a structured way, and able to work independently.Good communication skills and knows how to handle difficult customers.Problem-solving/support-oriented attitude.Ability to handle multiple tasks and deal with different stakeholders/teams.About UsNippon Gases aims to create social value through innovative gas solutions that increase industrial productivity, enhance human well-being, and contribute to a more sustainable future.Making life better through gas technology.What can you expect from us?We are an industrial company in which safety and integrity come first.
