Team Lead Support Operations

col-wideJob Description:**Responsibilities**:1. Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer issues.2. Supports the Manager of Support Operations and performs management duties when he/she is absent or out of office.3. Provide direction and guidance to the assigned Support Operations team to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day flow of tasks based on the direction of the Manager of Support Operations.4. Provide mentorship and instruction to the assigned Support Operations team to increase knowledge and proficiency.5. Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks6. Answer team member questions, help with team member problems, and oversee team member work for quality and guideline compliance.7. Assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications and various standards.8. Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other Onyx teams.9. Ensure the team is focused and on track, and escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team.10. Provide status reporting of team activities and keep the Manager of Support Operations informed of accomplishments, issues and status.11. Work with the Manager of Support Operations to obtain necessary resources to support workflow requirements.12. Generate and share reports about team performance, team goals, and deadlines.13. Prepares periodic reports for leadership, as necessary or requested.14. Proactively look for opportunities to improve product, processes and /or work tools to both Onyx and customer benefit, and test environment on new tools and new releases.15. Assist in the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding processes.**Minimum Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience- 2 Years of experience with Onyx systems and processes.- Fluent in English**Desired Qualifications**:- Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the specific department.- Strong written and oral communication skills.- Result-oriented, daring, persuasive and flexible with a sense of urgency.- Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated.- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.- Excellent organizational management skills.**Competencies**:- Technical capacity- Team leadership- Team work- Analytical- Quality- Motivational skills- Results-Oriented- Strong Relationship Building- Customer Service
