For this role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of remote work while also collaborating in person at our office every two weeks. Mitek is looking for a dedicated and driven Country Financial Controller (Spain) to take a key role in managing our financial operations and contributing to our company's growth and success. In this essential position, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical financial functions, from overseeing daily, weekly, and month-end processes to managing vendor payment applications, cash flow, and balance sheet account analysis. You'll have the opportunity to develop, refine, and enhance our business processes, driving efficiency and excellence across the organization. We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures who can confidently apply GAAP across various asset and liability categories. Beyond the numbers, you'll take on special assignments and projects, collaborating closely with our talented team of accountants and supervisors to achieve our financial goals. As a Country Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Your experience with SOX compliance will be crucial in establishing and monitoring effective controls, managing risks, and ensuring that our financial practices align with both internal policies and external regulatory standards. What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities): Conduct month-end closing activities, including balance sheets and reconciliations. Prepare Spanish GAAP financial statements and review them for accuracy
