EtherMail has been founded by serial entrepreneurs Shant Kevonian and Gerald Heydenreich (eg exit of buyvip to Amazon) is located in Liechtenstein, Spain, Germany and Argentina and has received more than 7 M € in funding from top tier VC funds such as fabric, greenfield and Tim Draper.

Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance our Android app, playing a pivotal part in the design and development process. You will collaborate closely with other developers across backend, web and iOS as necessary, working on cutting-edge technology that merges blockchain with email communication.

Responsibilities: High-energy, self-motivated, and proactive. Take full ownership of our Android application's development & store releasesCollaborate with design and business teams to develop innovative, user-centered solutions.Define and maintain visual guidelines to ensure consistency throughout the app.Prototype new user interactions and iterate on them based on team feedback.Enhance and optimize the app's performance, including offline storage and threading. Qualifications: Expertise in Kotlin, experience using version control tools like Git.Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and UI design principles.Proficient with Jetpack Compose, or a strong desire to upskillExperience integrating Android applications with RESTful APIs.Proficient in performance tuning and multi-threaded programming.Experience in native supporting older versions of Android (API level 23).A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Nice to Have: Passion for blockchain technology and its potential applications.Experience with cryptography and test-driven development (TDD).Active GitHub projects showcasing your mobile development skills.Familiarity with Swift, Java, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
