The Position: Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for a PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - ANALOG DESIGN ENGINEERING to join our European CSS Power Team. The candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn exciting new technologies and develop new products, but also be able to work effectively within a talented group of individuals across multiple development locations. The candidate will join a team of Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal CMOS designers, Mask Layout designers, Verification and Silicon Evaluation engineers, Algorithm and Software developers, Packaging and Test engineers, implementing PMIC state of the art. The candidate will always drive for Power-related Best-In-Class IPs performances, such as Low Power / High-Efficiency, Low Noise / High-PSRR, High Accuracy / Low Ripple. The candidate will be involved in the following developments, from definition to production:
LDO, BUCK, BOOST, BUCK-BOOST, CHARGE-PUMP, SIMO (Single-Input / Multiple Outputs)IBB (Inverted BUCK-BOOST), ICP (Inverted CHARGE-PUMP), Negative LDOPower Sequencer, Oscillators, PLL, Bandgap, References, ADC, DAC, I/O, SPI, I2C, SPMI, OTP, MTP, RAM, ROM, DFTResponsibilities: Power IP DevelopmentDefine and contribute to the CSS product and IP Road MapStreamline IP development, improve Team Flows and MethodologiesPower Management IC DevelopmentDrive next generation PMIC specifications, architectures, design, as well as pre-silicon verification and post-silicon bench evaluationProvide guidance to physical design layout teamDevelop optimal PMIC solution, with consideration of power, performance, area, risk, resources and scheduleTechnical Customer Interface EngagementParticipate in customer engagements, in support of technical feasibility and proposalsIC Development Weekly meetings / IC Milestone WorkshopsIn Production IC SupportHuman Resources ManagementSupport the development of a multi-disciplined team, including interviewing and recruitment supportProvide Mentorship and technical leadership, setting up framework and structure for efficient development flowsEnable a culture of continuous learning and improvementSupport project management, task planning, schedule and resourcesMinimum Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 10+ years of experienceExperience in leading complex IC and IP developments, Analog Design experience with multiple products introduced into the market, with Integrated Power functionsStrong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skillsStrong team worker with multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environmentsGood understanding of Mixed-Signal Design Flow and Top-Down development methodologyGood understanding of Power IP TopologiesAnalog Functional and Parametric VerificationProcess - Voltage - Temperature (PVT) Corners, Layout Parameter Extraction (LPE) SimulationsExcellent written and verbal communicationPreferred Qualifications & Experience: Proficient with Cadence Suite (Virtuoso ADE Spectre)Scripting languages (Shell, TCL, PERL, Python)HDL programming languages (Verilog / SystemVerilog)Analog Behavioral Models (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Wreal, SystemVerilog, EEnet)Mixed-Signal Verification methodology and tools (AMS / APS / Flex)IC Top-Level Digital UVM Verification (Universal Verification Methodology)Experience in high-voltage low geometry process technologyLab silicon bring-up evaluation and Production Test support experiencesWhy You Will Like Working At ADI: We place great value on individual judgmentWe allow our employees the freedom to explore new ideas and the autonomy to determine how to best achieve business goals and objectivesWe emphasize professional development and mentoringAbove all, we recognize that the personal goals of our employees and the company's goals are closely related and must support each other
