Applications are welcome from all qualified candidates.ContextInformation and Communications Technology (ICT) enables the IOM to achieve its mission to facilitate orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people by delivering transformative information and technologies to its staff working in over 160 countries.The ICT business model combines dedicated business solutions centres that provide services tailored to specific IOM business needs and shared services that provide infrastructure.Core Functions / ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (or Continuous Delivery) (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOPS tools for efficient software delivery.Automate build, test and deployment processes to improve software release cycles.Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for provisioning and managing Azure resources.Ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployment.Manage and configure Azure DevOPS tools and related technologies for version control, build, release and monitoring.Migrate on-premises workloads to the cloud and monitor and optimize them for performance and cost.Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability.Integrate security measures and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with development, operations and QA teams to streamline processes and improve collaboration.Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.Standardize and automate repetitive tasks.Create documentation for processes, procedures and configurations.Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members.Be accountable for the performance and reliability of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they meet business requirements.Integrate security and compliance into the development and deployment process.Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the team and with stakeholders.Perform such other duties as may be assigned.Required Qualifications and ExperienceEducation- Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or- University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.- Professional certification in AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert may be considered an equivalent diploma with 10 years of relevant professional experience.Experience- Experience in designing, configuring, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.- Experience with IaC tools like Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform.
