General OverviewWe are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to oversee the execution of modular structure projects for events and semi-permanent installations.
The candidate must be willing and available to work on-site during all key project phases and must operate with their own laptop and basic digital tools.
You will report to the Account Manager and ultimately to the General Director.
You will liaise with clients, suppliers, site teams, and Losberger De Boer departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Site ManagementCoordinate the full project lifecycle: planning, build, handover, and dismantlingSupervise and support on-site teams and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with all Health & Safety requirementsGuarantee on-site documentation, signage, and permissions are in orderLiaise with the design team to ensure updated plans are shared and understoodMaintain project records, logs, and issue site updates
Commercial & Operational CoordinationParticipate in client meetings and technical site visitsCollaborate in the preparation of proposals and cost estimatesMonitor deviations, extras, and variation orders during executionCollaborate in the preparation of final invoicing documentation and reportingTrack project profitability and identify potential improvements
Post-Project ActivitiesSupport in final cost reporting and lessons learned documentationSuggest improvements for future project efficiency
Profile & QualificationsEssentialAvailability to work on-site across Spain during critical phasesOwn laptop and ability to work independently with digital filesUniversity degree or equivalent professional experienceFluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)Strong planning, organizational, and time management skillsPrior experience in event or construction-related project managementFamiliarity with managing subcontractors, materials, and logisticsKnowledge of H&S practices relevant to temporary structures
Valuable (Not Mandatory)Experience with SAP, Xrm or other CRM/project softwareExperience using pre-calculation systems for budgetingBasic technical drawing reading skillsPrevious work with modular structures or tented solutions
