.Support & Operations Manager, Amazon Freight EU Job ID: 2675126 | Amazon Czech Republic Services s.R.O.The Support & Operations Manager is responsible for a team that manages 24x7 frontline operations for both Inbound and Off-Amazon transportation. They work in a cross-functional environment with Shippers, Carriers, the Amazon Freight business team, Supply Chain, and the Retail organizations to determine future demand for transportation resources, and translate the aforementioned into accurate capacity plans. They drive the vision of Operations, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and lead resolution of any potential issues that impact Shipper experience and business continuity.Key job responsibilitiesDefine and optimize supply chain and operating models for various businesses, including assessing and reviewing end-to-end functional and operational areas.Analyse and interpret data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness across complex supply chains and multiple business operations; leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making.Partner cross-functionally with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, serving as an escalation point for shipper support and driving appropriate corrective actions.Support the planning, organization and prioritization of complex, multi-stakeholder projects; make accurate business decisions based on in-depth understanding of operational demands, labour, and volume forecasts.Independently identify upstream and downstream operational problems before they become customer-impacting, translating business and end-user needs into the right solutions with strong business acumen and a department/company-wide perspective.A day in the lifeAs a Support & Operations Manager you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between. You'll help us optimise our frontline operations for both Inbound and Off-Amazon transportation, to make our customer experience even better. You'll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects.About the teamAmazon Freight is a transportation service provider for external shippers that uses the logistics network we built for Amazon to deliver freight safely, on time and at competitive costs.
