ROLE SUMMARY: We are currently seeking to appoint a Maths & Computer Science teacher to join our team in La Miranda, Barcelona starting as from January 2025.
La Miranda School, Barcelona, offers students a first-class education as a premium international, multilingual school committed to academic excellence in global education. Students receive a personalised, holistic learning experience inclusive of sports and art across Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate divisions.

Conveniently located in the charming town of Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona, the extensive school campus comprises 11 buildings, each equipped with innovative educational resources. A wide range of facilities aids specialist educators in providing an exciting, nurturing, and culturally diverse environment to students, aged 0 to 18 years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: A dynamic and pro-active teacher, preferably with independent sector or international experience
Strong team player willing to support other colleagues
Excellent working knowledge of the English National Curriculum, the IB Diploma and recent developments
Fluency in written and spoken English
Pastoral responsibility or experience would be an advantage
Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
Knowledge of Spanish, or willingness to learn Spanish would be an advantage
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Achieved Qualified Teacher status (Applications from NQTs are welcome)
A degree or equivalent in the described subjects
Experience in A Level or IB
Experience in teaching and the ability to motivate a diverse student body
Your reasons for showing an interest in the school
Your reasons for wishing to live and work in Spain
