The Manager of Learning and Development supports the strategy and development of learning offerings that ensure constant growth in our team's capabilities, skills and potential to meet and exceed business objectives and results targets. Working with the Learning and Development team and global talent colleagues, the Manager of Learning and Development builds exceptional curriculum & content, scalable training processes and ensures outstanding facilitation of onboarding and instruction for employees resulting in increased retention and employee engagement. This position will support the development for either retail, corporate and distribution center teams.Essential Job ResultsDevelops a wide array of professional learning programs and curriculum that align talent development with business strategyServes as a strategic thought partner to our HR business partners and leaders across the regionWorks collaboratively to identify evolving needs and leverage subject matter experts for curriculum and program developmentFacilitates learning experiences that motivate, engage, and empower learners with the tools needed to do their best workAnalyzes learner feedback and other data to ensure continuous improvement of learning and development programsDevelops an organization-wide focus on learning to sustain culture and catalyze positive changeCoordinates with key partners to operationalize & scale learning programsMakes complex ideas simple and learning concepts stickJob RequirementsResourceful, strategic and adaptable with outstanding execution and follow-throughBuilds exceptional relationships with the ability to influence, collaborate and build consensusStrong sense of support & partnershipSkilled in professional training, talent development and adult learningEngaging teacher, trainer, counselor and coachOutstanding problem-solver and change agentExperience and interest in growing and developing teams globallyEducation, Experience and LanguagesBachelors Degree preferred7+ years of experience and focus on employee training, learning and development in multiple European CountriesPrevious experience developing and managing learning strategies and programsIdeally English, German & either Spanish/French/ItalianAbout SkechersSkechers (NYSE: SKX), a global, Fortune 500 brand develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.
