Join us and help lay the foundations for a decentralized future.We are searching for an organized self-starter to be our new Legal Operations Assistant to support Tether's Expansion Strategies. The Legal Operations Assistant reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the Head of Expansion, fulfilling his duties in his absence. You should also be well-versed in internal operations, take minutes at meetings, forward and distribute mail as required, and prepare and file relevant documents.To be successful as a Legal Operations Assistant, you should possess:Excellent communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasksStrong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:Managing legal documents: responsible for managing and organizing legal documents and files, ensuring they are properly filed and accessible.Scheduling meetings: arranges meetings and conferences, both in-person and virtual, with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals.Billing and invoicing: assists in preparing billing and invoicing statements, tracking expenses and payments, and ensuring that billing guidelines are followed.Coordinating with external partners: coordinates with external partners such as outside counsel, vendors, and government agencies.Conducting legal research: conducts legal research to support attorneys and legal teams in preparing for cases.Drafting legal documents: assists in drafting legal documents such as investment agreements, MoU, contracts, and other diverse sets of agreements.Maintaining legal databases: maintains legal databases and ensures they are up-to-date and accurate.Providing administrative support: provides administrative support to legal teams, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes of meetings
