About the role Monks is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Madrid office and craft digital content, campaigns, and assets for amazing brands across the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Responsibilities You'll specialise in designing digital marketing assets for a wide variety of channels, predominantly social media. You'll make sure designs are slick and in line with client expectations and target audience. You'll help translate creative/client briefs into thorough design briefs. You go above and beyond the brief to push the boundaries when it comes to digital designs and aesthetics. You'll help to create style proposals, sketches and mockups to kickstart new projects. You're able to work quickly and through multiple iterations while maintaining strong attention to detail and timelines. You'll collaborate with our existing team of designers, copywriters, and creative leads to produce high-quality integrated visual designs. You are flexible when it comes to working hours on specific projects. For some projects, you'll set the style; for others, you'll helpsafeguard predefined styles. You'll ensure that designs adhere to guidelines, are consistent across formats and look pixel perfect in any dimension. You'll look after the design process and help improve the work by offering new angles, best practices and practical solutions — guaranteeing projects meet and exceed our standards. About you The Essentials: You're a technically skilled designer with 4+ years of experience as a designer, crafting digital designs and advertising materials. Mastery of all modern design and prototyping tools. You're tidy, and you know how to organise your files, layers and folders to make the lives of colleagues easier. Working with clients and colleagues around the world, you also need to have strong communication skills. You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualising styles to finalising layouts and rolling out designs across markets and formats. Creating balanced and visually appealing layouts comes naturally to you. You have an articulate understanding of fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, flow and storytelling. You know how to present designs to colleagues and clients alike. Not a must, but a plus: AI tools experience.
