in regards to data protection related topics and projects (supported by local DPOs)Management and improvement of processes for the fulfilment of requests to exercise GDPR rightsReviewing and negotiation of data protection agreementsReviewing and implementation of data protection requirements during service provider on- and offboardingPlanning and execution of data protection projects within the FREENOW appCarrying out of Transfer Impact and Data Protection Impact AssessmentsCarrying out of Legitimate Interest AssessmentsDevelopment and administration of data protection and compliance trainingsPreparation of compliance and data protection reportingUpdating compliance and data protection related regulations and policiesAssistance to the Head of Compliance & Data Protection with assessment and handling of data breaches and notifications to data protection authorities Reviewing and alignment on technical and organisational measures with the Information Security and IT departmentProviding compliance support to colleagues as needed (e.g., conducting third-party due diligence and screening, assisting with internal investigations, managing the whistleblowing channel) TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE: University degree in law, information technology, management or similar3+ years experience in a similar position preferably in the tech industry Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection RegulationData Privacy Certification favourable but not mandatoryExperience in conducting AI ethics and risk assessments would be an advantageStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex privacy issues in a simple way to a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to handle multiple concurrent projects in a structured and easily understandable wayProcess-oriented and independent work styleFluency in English is mandatory and ideally another language (nice to have: Polish) BENEFITS & PERKS IN A NUTSHELL: Flexible working arrangements LinkedIn Learning Sabbatical & special leave policies WeRoad partnership Birthday, 24th + 31st December off Short term EU work policy Mobility Credit Health Insurance Employee assistance program Plus more local benefits depending on your work location
