In this position, you will work with a multi-disciplinary and highlymotivated team of applied scientists and engineers.
The team develops speech recognition technology for the next generation HLS Speech-to-Text platform and solutions.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a passionate and highly motivated expert in speech recognition technology who willdevelop and improve production-ready HLS ASR technologyapply state-of-the-art end-to-end ASR modelling techniquesdesign and develop ASR systems for HLS platform and solutionsunderstand, select and prepare data for ASR model training and testingimplement tools for ASR model training and testingdesign and run ASR experiments to further improve HLS ASR technologycollaborate with a team of highly skilled speech recognition experts, document, present and discuss your applied research resultsQualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in computer science, mathematics, or physics or related field AND extensive experience in machine learning (applied) research (preferably speech recognition or natural language understanding)OR Doctorate in machine learning (preferably speech recognition or natural language processing) or in a field with intense machine learning applicationPrevious experience with coding in PythonExperience in working with machine learning backends (preferably PyTorch)Excellent English communication and presentation skillsOther RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
