Job Description What you'll do:
We are looking for a Bartender intern to be part of the team at SLS Barcelona.
Under the guidance of the Head Bartender, you will be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage lineup and making our place a total hit.
Responsibilities include:
Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.Prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.Be knowledgeable about bar products and cocktail recipes.Make whatever the mood calls for, from soft drinks to masterful cocktails that change with the seasons.Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each cocktail accordingly.Strictly adhere to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet and check beverage stock.Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.Prepare mise-en-place and perform side duties.Work with the rest of the team in keeping things running smoothly and tidily, for both table and bar service. Qualifications What we are looking for: Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Fluent in Spanish and English.Ability to make people feel good - your team, guests, and colleagues alike.Capability to make a positive impact.Excellent relationship builder, confident in working with other teams and leaders; passionate about what we can achieve together.Ownership of important issues, problem-solving, and effective decision-making.Quick learner, adaptable to SLS's unique culture.Humble and open to ideas.Willingness to do things differently and try (almost) everything once.A desire to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way.
