.Valsea Technologies is looking for self-driven Scala developers. The position is hybrid, where we offer the possibility to sit in our amazing office in Marbella, Spain but we consider the option of being fully remote within the EU for the right profile. What We Do Valsea Technologies is a global technical consultancy specialised in Scala and Javascript development. Our Scala chapter is divided into a set of teams that own different parts of the system that contain more than 30 microservices and are primarily built using the Lightbend stack. Through our ongoing efforts in research and development, we are continuously enhancing our toolset to stay at the forefront of technology and deliver cutting-edge solutions for managing content, data, and performance at scale. Who you are We are looking for someone who will not just be able to understand and continue the work we have been doing, but someone that is also capable of bringing a new perspective and that might be able to point out what and where we can improve. Technical skills Most desirable - Scala: Proficiency and hands-on experience.- Event Sourcing & Akka: Building resilient systems is second nature to you. Desirable - ElasticSearch & Kafka: Expertise in data management and querying.-NoSQL (Cassandra): Strong database modeling and optimization skills.
