Job description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Integration Architect and Specialist who will join the team responsible for implementing Workday across all Lindt subsidiaries around the world; once the project is completed the candidate will continue his/her work in the steady-state mode.For the first 2-3 years, during the implementation phase, the role will be responsible for architecting the integrations between Workday and other critical systems and coordinate the parties involved in all phases of the project (from design, to implementation, testing and release).After the project's completion, the role will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow, provide ongoing support to maintain integration performance and to coordinate the implementation of new requirements/enhancements.Responsibilities:Architect Integration Solutions: Design and architect integration solutions between Workday and other systems, ensuring robust and scalable interfaces.Coordinate with Partners: Act as the primary coordinator for external partners responsible for the development, testing, and release of integrations, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure seamless data flow across systems.Quality Assurance Oversight: Oversee the testing processes conducted by partners, ensuring that integrations meet quality standards and function as intended.Documentation and Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration architectures and processes and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.Support and Maintenance: Provide high-level support and guidance for integration-related issues, working with partners to resolve any problems and implement enhancements.IAM Collaboration: Collaborate with the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team and with Cybersecurity team to ensure that HR processes implemented with Workday align with the organization's IAM and Cybersecurity strategies and requirements.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:Technical Leadership: Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services) and the ability to architect complex integration solutions.Coordination and Management: Excellent coordination skills to manage and oversee the activities of external partners, ensuring timely and effective delivery of integration solutions.Communication Skills: Superior communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess integration requirements and develop effective architectural solutions.IAM Understanding: Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and the ability to work with the IAM team to ensure HR processes are aligned with IAM strategies.Experience Needed:Workday Integration Experience: At least 5 years of experience specifically with Workday integrations, including hands-on experience with tools like Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday Web Services.Technical Background: A strong technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A Master's degree with relevant experience is also highly valued.Architectural Design: Proven experience in designing and architecting integration solutions, ensuring they are scalable and meet the organization's needs.Project Coordination: Experience in coordinating with external partners and vendors, managing their activities to ensure the successful development, testing, and deployment of integrations.HR Systems Knowledge: A solid understanding of HR processes and systems, which is crucial for effectively integrating Workday with other HR-related applications.Travel requirements: the role will require occasional travel, which might be more frequent during the implementation phase.
On average, travel can be estimated at 10%-20% of the working time.
