Join us and support our Double Impact strategy by optimizing our indirect spend.We are looking for you, a Global Procurement Category Manager, Property, Facility Management and Utilities who will bring value to our Indirect procurement team by ensuring development of Category Management (Sourcing and contract management), supplier relationships and developing sustainable value adding solutions.Make an impact and drive improvementsIn this newly created position you will be responsible for work associated with all aspects of strategic sourcing of the Global spend on the defined categories under Property, Facility Management and Utilities within the Hempel Group.You will report to Group Procurement Director for Indirect, work closely together with all parts of the business like commercial, finance, external suppliers, and collaborating with other colleagues from all over the world.A skilled negotiator with global Indirect Spend experienceYou have experience within strategic sourcing and procurement of Property, Facility Management and Utilities, a global category approach and are comfortable working with many different cultures, and continuously optimize our indirect spend in this area.Personal values are very important to us, and we are looking for a someone who is customer oriented, lives accountability instils trust, collaborates, and gets results.Key taskSourcing and Procurement of the global category defined as Property, Facility Management and Utilities aligned with the relevant businesses' requirementsDevelop and execute category strategy focused on cost, collaboration, contracts and compliancePlanning, negotiating and contracting all relevant marketing sourcing related activitiesContinuously optimize the categories and spend by driving cost focused initiativesStakeholder management with both internal and external stakeholdersWhat does it take to become our new team member?Relevant experience in global category management (strategic sourcing and procurement)Extensive working experience (3 years as minimum) within real estate/property from a strategic procurement perspective from larger, international CompaniesSkilful and experienced negotiatorSolid experience working with contract lifecycle managementStrong relationship-builder with internal and external stakeholdersAble to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in EnglishExperience working and communicating with senior stakeholders (Director, VP level etc.)Master degree or relevant educational background and/or experience from Consultancy would be a benefitYou will be working from one of our offices in either Lyngby, Denmark, Darwen, UK, Gdansk, Poland or Barcelona, SpainJoin a company and department that will invest in youYou will be part of the Group Procurement, consisting of 55 colleagues around the world.In Hempel, we offer a variety of global career possibilities and many cross functional and cross-cultural working relationships.Application and further informationFor further information on Hempel, please visit hempel.com.
