Data Architect Lead

Allianz Technology is rolling out a new global insurance platform.
For this purpose, a Data Architect Lead is required who will act in the interests of the business area, supporting the PO on the roadmap creation and also in the requirements landing, building the bridge between the PO and the rest of the engineering team, including the QAs to be able to set up the testing scenarios and support if needed in their execution.What you doSupport the PO and help in the design of the solution together with the engineering team.Work with the business areas to identify improvements and business problems to define the different features in alignment with the PO.Translate product epics and features into well-formatted user stories and acceptance criteria.Proactively manage and track all backlog according to business value, complexity, and expectations.Work with the QA in the team to properly define the test cases, support the data creation, and also the testing if needed.Carry on with the configuration of the various systems.Provide clear documentation of the solutions out of the team.Help in the identification and analysis of the bugs that can appear and assist the team with creating the business understanding needed to fix them properly.Assist and/or shadow the PO in preparing all the different demos needed as well as the preparation of the planning sessions.What you bringStrong communication & negotiation skills.Strong experience as a Data Architect.Functional knowledge about insurance products.Experience in working with Cloud technologies and orchestration tools.Experience building and maintaining ETLs.Experience establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.Experience working closely with security teams and IT teams to design data security architectures.High capacity to learn and adapt in a continuously changing environment.Preferred a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Organization or in Information Technology.What we offerWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working, including up to 25 days per year working from abroad.We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program, and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery, and empowerment are fostered.Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.About Allianz TechnologyAllianz Technology is the global IT service provider for Allianz and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Group.
