I. POSITION SUMMARYThe QC Chemist performs physico-chemical analysis for raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Provides input in the resolution of technical problems and conducts laboratory investigations. Executes testing based on approved standard operating procedures and analytical methods, and notifies Heads for deviations observed and/or updates needed. Ensures compliance with the approved testing schedule and coordinates with QC Analyst to ensure timely release of the Certificate of Analysis.II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConduct laboratory testing for physico-chemical analysis.Perform chemical standardizations to maintain quality in test results.Maintain the QA/QC programs, quality investigations, and any reports and record keeping needed to validate test results and samples.Maintain product specifications, inventory, and safekeeping of purchased material specifications, especially for reagents and other chemicals needed to perform tests.Conduct Hydrogen peroxide residual determination.Conduct 1st and 2nd Protocol shelf life validation.Review, update, and develop procedures and train QC Analyst.Manage and prepare certificates of analysis for shipments.Provide reports or COA for sample shipment evaluation and pre-shipment samples.Troubleshoot customer complaints related to quality and provide accurate and timely investigations and technical reports with corrective actions in coordination with Sales, R&D, and Senior QC Supervisor.Recommend and justify new laboratory equipment and systems when necessary.Prepare documents needed for filing shipment Health Certificates.Responsible for FDA application for CPR, LTO, and Notification of Sources.Maintain client folders containing Sales Orders, COA, and other records generated.Update monthly monitoring sheet for FG quality and SRF formulas.Update Quality Control Manual, Work Instructions, and Procedures aligned to current practice.Responsible for maintaining good laboratory practices in the laboratory.Adhere to safe work practices.Job Type: Full-timePay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per monthBenefits:Additional leaveCompany Christmas giftCompany eventsFree parkingHealth insurancePaid trainingSchedule:8-hour shiftSupplemental Pay:13th month salaryQuarterly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Carmona, Cavite: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)License/Certification:LICENSED CHEMIST (Required)Expected Start Date: 08/26/2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
