Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us.
You will collaborate with our General Manager to plan and oversee the store's daily operations and assume the GM's responsibilities in their absence.This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service while also maintaining the restaurant's budget and quality standards.
You must have 3 years of management experience in the food and beverage industry and a bachelor's degree in hospitality management is strongly preferred.Apply today if this sounds like an exciting new opportunity for youResponsibilities Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store in maintaining all standards of guest serviceCompose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the General Manager and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitabilityAnalyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operationsEmpower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing supportManage compliance with company or brand-established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulationsQualifications Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as a department managerProven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality3+ years of experience working in the hospitality industry requiredThis position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree with preference given to those with a hospitality management degreeCompensation $60,000+ yearlyAbout Big Dave's Oviedo Big Dave's Cheesesteaks is one of the fastest-growing businesses in Atlanta, Georgia, and now the Charlotte, NC area.
