Our client, an international advisory firm focused solely on sustainability, offering unparalleled expertise across business and finance with more than 50 years of experience, is looking to recruit an EHS Auditor.
EHS Auditor HR, Organisation and Quality Madrid or Barcelona (Spain) Ref: TI08835126 September 11, 2024 SERVICES TO COMPANIES FUNCTIONS The role will work on a wide range of interesting projects including ESG management consultancy, advisory and due diligence covering decarbonisation, EHS, climate risk and social/human rights aspects.
The team is looking to appoint a motivated, detail-oriented Consultant with a passion for sustainability who will support with the delivery of EHS audits to a range of clients from the financial services (including private equity) and the corporate sector (o&g, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
The role will require frequent travel (mostly within the country) to the work site.
Job Responsibilities: Environmental, health and safety (EHS) audits to support mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance audits, supply chain audit programs.
Audits on environmental, social, governance (ESG) issues, to help companies and corporations identify reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
Supporting project managers in requested activities such as research for information, writing reports, proposal preparation, etc.
Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposals.
About you: Ideally more than 3 years of relevant experience in EHS (HSE) due diligence and audit, ideally across a range of industries.
A Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Sistemas Integrados de Calidad, Medio Ambiente, Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo or other relevant disciplines.
A specialization in energy or civil engineering or experience in the sustainability/carbon sector would be considered a plus, but not a requirement.
Working knowledge of English (C1) is required; knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus (preferred Portuguese).
Good knowledge of Spanish Environmental and EHS legislation.
Knowledge of the international EHS standards will be considered as an advantage.
Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
Desire to develop a career in consulting, developing knowledge in areas of sustainability such as ESG.
Commitment to being responsive to our clients' needs and meeting transaction schedules.
