ONSITE SEARCH EXPERT


At Axiom Software Solutions Limited, we are seeking an experienced onsite search expert to join our team.

About the Role:

We require a highly skilled professional with 10+ years of experience in creating robust on-site search strategies for digital direct business. As an onsite search expert, you will own and manage on-site search regionally, contributing to company-wide knowledge by sharing best practices with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive on-site search strategy that ensures best relevancy for on-site searches
  • Continuously increase the click-through rate and conversion rate for the keywords being searched on-site
  • Optimize search bar results (pinning, boosts, Berry, synonymous, popular search keywords, redirects, etc.)
  • Optimize search result page (SRP) with dash facet optimization, product spotlights, category links, promotion banners, campaigns, etc.
  • Plan and execute upsell and cross-sell campaigns on various real estates on the stores by leveraging the tools' capabilities
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce merchandising team on a roadmap and execute optimization activities
  • Perform keyword search in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing on-site search experience and define new opportunities
  • Address pain points for search keywords and improve relevancy/results accordingly
  • Conduct quality control to ensure the best relevancy and end-to-end experience (audit and analyze)
  • Provide feedback to the merchandising team on the performance of keywords and recommend plans to improve the click-through rate of low-performing keywords
  • Minimize search result pages with 0 results to avoid exits from the online stores
  • Communicate performance and initiative status to stakeholders in monthly business reviews
  • Stay updated on trends related to search and on-site search optimization and leverage applicable practices to fuel growth in the online store ecosystem
  • Leverage tools to personalize on-site search experiences based on user behavior, browsing history, etc.
  • Analyze Google Analytics data and generate insights

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in onsite search and digital direct business
  • Expertise in creating robust on-site search strategies
  • SQL knowledge, web analytics (HTML), and data obsession
  • No interaction with the SEO Team; only with Merchandising and Advertising teams for NPI and campaigns
  • Certifications in SQL, HTML, or email campaigning tools


This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring 2 days of onsite work per week at our Barcelona Sant Cugat office in Spain.
