Fluency in English and additional languages is highly desirable.The Innovation Manager will be responsible for developing and managing our Public NewSpace strategy in collaboration with local, national, and international stakeholders, and overseeing the exploitation team to bridge the gap between our research outputs and market needs. This role requires a seasoned leader with robust communication skills, adept at navigating complex stakeholder relationships and capable of translating customer needs into viable product offerings. By joining us, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining i2CAT's competitive edge and contributing to the forefront of space communications technology.Some responsabilities of the candidate:Manage and develop the Newspace strategy with Public stakeholders, collaborating with local, national, and international stakeholders.Oversee the exploitation team responsible for facilitating the connection between research teams and potential customers.Serve as a liaison between customer needs and research teams to ensure that developed products meet market expectations.Coordinate and lead product planning meetings, setting priorities, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.Continuously evaluate and adapt innovation strategies to maintain competitiveness and relevance in the market.Who we are:The i2CAT Foundation is a non-profit research and innovation center that promotes mission-driven R&D activities on advanced Internet architectures, applications, and services. More than 15 years of international research define our expertise in the fields of 5G, IoT, VR, and Immersive Technologies, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, AI, and Digital Social Innovation. The center partners with companies, public administration, academia, and end-users to leverage this knowledge in order to meet real social and business challenges.The greatest value of i2CAT is the talent of the people who make up our human team.
