The analyst would be called upon to analyze metallic, reinforced concrete and soil-subgrade supported structures.*Candidate must be located or willing to commute to the Madrid office on a regular basis.Typical analyses include:Static and dynamic finite element modeling and analyses (FEA) using ANSYSDrop and impact (e.G., missile and aircraft) analyses and target response using LS-DYNASimulation of the seismic response of freestanding structures in air or submerged in waterStatic and dynamic analyses of large reinforced concrete structuresSoil-structure interaction (SSI) analyses with freestanding and/or anchored structuresBeam and plate stress calculations using established principles of strength of materialsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Applicant must possess a BS in mechanical/civil/structural engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
