Reporting to the Sr Grid Connection Enginee r and based in Madrid, we are looking for a Grid Connection Engineer. The selected professional will be responsible for managing all stages of HV grid connection design of renewable projects. What will you do? Supervision and optimization of conceptual/schematic/detailed design of HV grid connection design, including calculations, technical specifications and drawings. Quantity Survey and budgeting of designs to produce the design BOQ. Manage and communicate engineering/technical input to site evaluation and characterization. Support the representation of X-ELIO in meetings, negotiation with clients, suppliers, consultants, utilities and regulatory authorities. What do we need? BEng, with focus on Electrical engineering. A master's degree in Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy or similar would be considered a plus. Minimum experience in the design of MV/HV electromechanical design of substation and UG/OH lines: 1-2 years. Knowledge of HV Interconnection design in accordance with TSO and DSO standards Languages: English, Spanish. Knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus. Computer / Design Software literacy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point); Knowledge in ETAP simulation tool is a plus. What do we offer?
