With our team of motivated professionals, we create and develop innovative environmental and energy technological solutions to transfer them to the industrial businesses.Are you ready for the challenge?The role We are seeking an R&D Engineer specializing in carbon capture, hydrogen, industrial electrification, and/or catalytic processes to join our Industrial Processes team.
This group works on European and national projects, as well as private industrial initiatives.For more information on some of the European projects we are currently involved in, visit: FLEXIndustries : (Haz clic en el botón "Responder a la oferta") TH2ICINO : (Haz clic en el botón "Responder a la oferta") eLITHE : (Haz clic en el botón "Responder a la oferta") CAPTUS: (Haz clic en el botón "Responder a la oferta") Main functions Advise and promote technical solutions under real production conditions through monitoring and assessing complex industrial processes.
Perform analysis on energy and air emissions (including mass and energy balances).
Prepare and present project results in PowerPoint and technical reports.
Ensure your projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Work together with CIRCE team members across different specialties and regions.
Develop and maintain solid, lasting relationships with clients.
Travel will be required as necessary on a project-by-project basis (up to 10% of time).
Main Requirements Industrial/Chemical/Energy Engineer bachelor's degree or similar studies required.
Proficient in English, at least B2 level or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of carbon capture, hydrogen processes, industrial electrification, and/or catalytic processes.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position working for international projects.
Familiarity with simulation tools (e.G., Aspen Plus, Matlab, Modelica) and energy-intensive systems such as heat pumps.
Desirable to have Experience in customer engagement, including identifying needs and proposing tailored solutions to industrial challenges.
Simulation experience of chemical processes (ASPEN Plus, HYSYS…) Scientific production (papers, congress).
MSc in Industrial Processes.
Previous experience in energy-intensive industries (refining, cement…).
Your skills Proactivity.
A self-starter with a positive "can-do" attitude, able to imagine innovative solutions.
B2B communication capacities.
Quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking.
Curiosity and the ability to research, design solutions, and translate findings into business practices.
Able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and to work both independently as well as on large multidisciplinary teams.
