NoOffer Description ABOUT CRAG:CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Lab Technician to be part of the group Plant Transcriptomics and Environmental Adaptation.Responsibilities: The candidate will be in charge of:RNA and DNA isolation techniques (extraction)Handling Arabidopsis plants (cultivation)Assessment of developmental responses to temperature changesAdditional tasks include:Nucleic acid isolation from plant tissuesAbility to work independently, as well as part of a teamGood time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesExperience: - Experience in Plant Molecular Biology- Good oral and written scientific communication in English.Specific Requirements Educational requirements:Degree in Biology or similarMaster's degree in plant science will be an assetLanguages: ENGLISH Level GoodAdditional Information Employed in compliance with Spanish legislation and regulations under a full-time contract.
