At HP Barcelona we host 12 businesses and are the worldwide HQ of the 3D Printing and the Large Format Printing businesses as well as the largest HP R&D Lab outside of the US and a fantastic Demo center. The Large Format Printing GBU is responsible for the business strategy, product portfolio and research and development for all HP Large Format Printing products at WW level, including HP DesignJet, HP PageWide XL, HP Latex and HP Stitch printers. HP leads this very dynamic market by bringing continuous innovation to our customers. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal AI Architect to join our team. The Principal AI Architect will serve as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert, responsible for driving the design, implementation, and overseeing advance AI solutions that not only address our internal business needs but also meet the requirements of our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and software engineering, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities : 1. Strategic Planning : Lead the development of the organization's AI strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation through AI technologies. Collaborate with executive leadership to align AI initiatives with business objectives and priorities. 2. Solution Design and Architecture : Define the technical architecture for complex AI systems, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that AI solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices. 3. Advanced Research and Development: Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning, exploring emerging technologies, algorithms, and methodologies. Prototype and experiment with novel AI techniques to solve challenging business problems and the diverse needs of our different customers segments. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Drive collaboration and alignment across teams to ensure the successful delivery of AI projects. 5
