.Novicap is an end-to-end working capital solutions provider focused on enabling CFOs/Finance teams of SMEs to pay their suppliers and collect from their customers. This includes short-term credit (factoring, supply chain finance and loans) and payment automation solutions.With offices in Barcelona and Madrid, we are currently looking for a Compliance Specialist who wants to join our Compliance team. You will help us in delivering and supporting our compliance work.Sounds interesting? Keep readingWhat will you do?As mentioned, you will be supporting our compliance work reporting to the Compliance Manager. We are subject to UK HMRC and Spain's SEPBLAC, among other frameworks. Although you will work transversally with practically all areas of the company, either providing support or identifying and managing risks associated with them,, your focus will be Compliance & Regulatory Matters. You will be responsible of:Control of the application of due diligence measures for new agreements and monitoring of the business relationship with current customers (KYC).Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violationsRegularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risksPreparing and managing training for each departmentDevelop and review company policiesAssisting in identifying, investigating, reporting and correction of compliance issues, irregularities and violationsAssisting the Compliance Manager in ensuring legal and compliance obligations are followed, helping to create an environment of risk control and monitoring.Conducting research to provide compliance recommendations, advice on upcoming/emerging regulations and evaluation impactsAssisting the Compliance Manager to ad-hoc compliance projectsIn doing so, you will contribute to the achievement of Novicap's long-term growth plansHow will you do it?With integrity. transparency and clarity are two of the cornerstones of our work.
