At ING we are looking for an Investment Analyst
Your role and work environment:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic investment analyst to join our investment strategy team.
The responsibility of this team is to create the economic and financial markets analysis to help our customers, our colleagues and our managerial teams understand the economic context. This team is responsible for producing and disseminating economic intelligence both inside and outside the bank.
You will help run and grow the macro/investment office function.
Your key responsibilities:
As an investment analyst you will help us create the macroeconomic and financial market analysis that we need to operate. This includes:
Sourcing the data and produce the analysis needed to track major macroeconomic developments.
Maintaining and exploiting a database (Macrobond).
Preparing and presenting the analysis.

This is an entry-level position. Recent graduates (ideally with some experience as interns in similar positions) are welcome, ideally with a master's or bachelor's degree in business, economics, or analysis.
Passionate about financial markets and macroeconomics, avid reader of financial news.
Data-driven, with common sense and attention to detail.
Good learning ability.
Strong analytical skills.
Great organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong ability to make effective presentations: effective storytelling, excellent PowerPoint skills.
Excellent command of Excel and some knowledge of Bloomberg, Macrobond and other databases.
Able to work in an autonomous way, to take initiative and to make things happen with a can-do attitude.
Good team player, willing to collaborate with different people.
Excellent command of written and spoken Spanish and English.
Ability to work at an international level.
