Prototype Engineer at Gray Matter Event Duration: 5-Day Prototype Development Sprint

The Situation Gray Matter is launching a 5-day prototype development sprint focused on creating a Simple, Lovable, and Complete (SLC) GenAI SaaS product. This intensive session is designed for Prototype Engineers who excel in turning ideas into working solutions quickly. If you have experience using coding, low-code, or no-code tools to build prototypes with functionalities such as user login, payment integrations, and API connections, and have an eye for UI/UX design, this sprint is for you.
The Role Join our dynamic 5-day sprint where you will:
Day 1
Collaborate with the team to understand the product vision and user needs. Start sketching out the prototype structure and select the appropriate tools for development.
Day 2-3
Develop the core functionalities of the prototype, including user login, payment processing, and essential API integrations. Ensure the prototype's interface is intuitive and visually appealing.
Day 4
Refine the prototype based on initial feedback from the team. Focus on enhancing the UI/UX design and ensuring smooth user interactions.
Day 5
Finalize the prototype for presentation. Prepare to demonstrate the prototype's functionality, usability, and how it addresses the product vision and user needs.
Qualifications We're seeking someone with:
+5 Years of Experience: Demonstrable experience in prototype development, especially in creating functional prototypes that include user login, payment systems, and API integrations.
UI/UX Sensibility: A keen eye for design and user experience, understanding how to create prototypes that are both functional and engaging.
Rapid Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify and solve design and functionality challenges within the sprint timeframe.
Collaborative Spirit: The capability to work closely with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback to iteratively improve the prototype.
Adaptability: Flexibility to pivot and adapt to new tools or user requirements as the sprint progresses.
