We pride ourselves on our exemplary track record in providing expert advice at all stages of the design and construction, working with clients and architects to create spaces for people.The Building Services team are a source of world leading expertise and our reputation in the education sector has been growing.The RoleThis is an opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the team at our Madrid office. This key role will work alongside directors and partners, ensuring the successful delivery whilst working with clients, architects and other stakeholders for some of the most exciting building projects in Spain and Worldwide. You will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines from pre-bid through to design phases to completion and post-handover.You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business. You will use your wealth of expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.The SkillsEducated to degree level in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering, and with a minimum of four years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (HVAC, Public Health, Fire Protection, BMS, etc), you have an extensive portfolio of experience demonstrating your familiarity with high quality engineering solutions and a client-focussed approach. You will also have experience in delivering Spanish projects and will value the experience in international projects.In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple projects and less experienced engineers to exceed client expectations. Ideally, you will possess sound knowledge of Revit and have proven experience for creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.Given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role, excellent communication and time management skills are essential.There is the opportunity to grow within this role both technically and managerially. You will assist with fee proposals and business development. You will be supported by mechanical and electrical engineers as the design progresses and enjoy developing solutions in collaboration with other members of the professional team in a consultative role.You will be supported in this role with engineers providing design services and be working alongside directors/partners who will actively also support you as we expand our team in Spain.Why Join Cundall?We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
