Centrient Pharmaceuticals is wholly owned by Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm.The Engineering department has a vacancy in its team for the following position:Automation EngineerAs an Automation Engineer you will have responsibility inside the Engineering function of sites in the following area: Automation.Main Activities and ResponsibilitiesFormulate and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectivesLead the planning, design, and implementation of automation projects of the siteDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing automation systems and processesMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains, and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure that all automation site systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, GxP guidelines, and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP)Identify potential risks associated with automation initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address themDevelop and manage budgets for automation projects, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectivelyRequirementsThe Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in the engineering field (Electricity, Electronics, Automation or Chemical) and/orMaster's degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration+5 years experience in technical departments: Automation Engineer (+3 years) and Project Management (+2 years)Advanced level of English language (written and spoken)Knowledge of SIEMENS suite for SCADA systems
