The responsibility of this team is to lead the origination and execution of advisory transactions in the context of relevant corporate events such as acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, restructurings or IPOs. In line with ING's strategy, we are looking to grow further our Corporate Finance franchise in Madrid. Priority sectors are Renewables, TMT, Financial Sponsors and Food & Beverage. While there is a preference for Spanish-speaking talent, ING is open to recruiting the best European talent willing to relocate permanently to Madrid. Geographical focus of the new hires will be EMEA. Your key responsibilities: As part of a larger transaction team, the Vice President will play the following supervisory roles: Marketing efforts including: (a) draft skeleton and strategically oversee marketing materials including company profiles, pitch books and presentations; (b) supervise financialmodels and general financial analysis; and (c) lead sector presentations to support senior bankers on the origination. Deal execution including: (a) lead the execution of transactions in terms of financial modelling and marketing materials preparation; (b) manage the deal team on a day-to-day basis and responsible for the communications with other parties involved in the process; (c) coordinate the input received from different teams, when several teams are involved in the transaction; (d) review and support the negotiation of legal documentation (term sheet, financial agreements, engagement letters, NDAs, etc.); and (e) provide sign-off to the completion of post-closing obligations. Other: strengthen own client relationship skills and assume some important business development and marketing responsibilities, pursuing ideas that lead to several pitches delivered to clients with the support of D(s) and MD(s). Coach junior team members throughout the course of an origination initiative and the execution of live deals. What are we looking for? Want to know if this job is made for you?
