The Barcelona Institute for Global Health, ISGlobal, is the fruit of an innovative alliance between academic, government, and philanthropic institutions to contribute to the efforts undertaken by the international community to address the challenges in global health.
ISGlobal is looking for a predoctoral researcher to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D project, a 2-y private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and hip fracture.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORISGlobal is looking for a predoctoral researcher to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D project, a 2-y private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and hip fracture.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND TASKSConduct systematic reviews of the literature.Perform statistical analysis of mobility parameters.Interpret and discuss the results with other SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D members.Write scientific papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.Contribute as co-author to other SUSTAIN MOBILISE-D publications.Present results in scientific conferences and meetings.Contribute to SUSTAIN PPIE group
 SECONDARY TASKSLink with local ethics boards.Link with regulatory authorities (EMA, FDA).
 TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEMaster in Global Health or similar.Experience in international organizations and/or pharmaceutical sectorExperience in marketing activities and projects related to medical education.Experience with advocacy groups and patient associations.SKILLSExcellent writing skills.Teamplayer, yet capable of working autonomously, rational thinker.LANGUAGES Proficiency in English (written and spoken)CONDITIONSDuration: 2 years Starting date: 3 th July 2024Contract: (part or full time) : Full timeSalary Range: TÈCNIC I D

SELECTION PROCESSThe selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
