For the Vaimo Insights & Activation team we are looking for an Analytics engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform and interest for web and app analytics and marketing.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Your expertise in GCP, Big Query, Big Query ML, GTM, GA4, version control systems, and API development will be critical in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using GCP services.

Implement ETL processes to ingest and transform data from various sources into Big Query.

Utilize version control systems (Bitbucket, Git Lab, Git Hub) for code management and collaboration.

Data Modeling & Warehousing: Build and maintain scalable data models in Big Query.

Ensure data integrity and quality across the data warehouse.

Machine Learning: Develop and deploy machine learning models using Big Query ML.

Collaborate with data scientists to integrate advanced analytics into business processes.

Expertise with building Gen AI applications is a plus API Development & Integration: Develop and manage APIs for data ingestion and distribution.

Integrate third-party APIs to enhance data capabilities.

Ensure API security and performance optimization.

Version Control and Collaboration: Manage code repositories using Bitbucket, Git Lab, and Git Hub.

Implement best practices for code versioning, branching, and merging.

Collaborate with team members through pull requests and code reviews.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

Optimize queries, data models, and APIs for cost and performance efficiency.

Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, APIs, and processes.

Stay updated with the latest GCP features and industry best practices.

Frequent training & guidance by senior experts is provided.

You will be further trained on the job if needed.

What do we expect? Minimum 4-5 years relevant domain experience Master's degree or bachelor's degree with significant experience Passionate about data, digital marketing & technology Experienced with Python, SQL, ETL and data warehousing, APIs Development Experience with CI/CD deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab, Airflow, …) Experience with the following domains: Google Cloud Platform, Google Big Query Knowledge of Azure and AWS is an asset Conceptual knowledge of common web & marketing technologies (Analytics tools, Tag Management Systems, BI tools…) Eager to learn from and share knowledge with the team Problem solver, result oriented, team player Excellent communication skills in English What do we have to offer?
