We have already established partnerships with the biggest global marketplaces as well as regional leaders.
Headquartered in Poland, Breslau, BaseLinker has 8 independently-run teams across the globe (Brazil, Czech Republic, Romania, India, UK, USA, DACH, India). Currently, we are experiencing exponential growth and are scaling globally. We have made a few acquisitions, set up new businesses and grown the team significantly (team size 10x growth in last 3 years) - already exceeding 230 professionals.
We are seeking an exceptional professional with relevant experience who is passionate about eCommerce and entrepreneurship. The new Head of Spain/Portugal will join the Executive Leadership Team and will play a pivotal role heading into the next growth phase. A successful candidate will build out the sales team, oversee growth initiatives and operational improvements within the market.
Experience
6+ years of professional experienceRelevant experience in eCommerce in the region (marketplaces, eShops, eCommerce SaaS Solutions, Fulfilment providers, shipping automation companies etc.)Great understanding of market conditions and industry trendsEntrepreneurial mindset and great organisational skillsStrong leadership skills to help guide market leaders and teams to achieve their business goalsExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English, Spanish, knowledge of Portuguese will be a plus)Comfort with customer relationship managementTeam player with a passion for learningFlexible, professional, accurate, and structuredOutgoing, friendly, and fun to be around
Tasks
Scale-up BaseLinker commercial activity in the regionBuild and manage a high-performing local team (support, business development & optionally tech)Drive Business Development Initiatives (local markets partnerships, paid media, email campaigns)Work cross-functionally with a global tech team to elevate the productPlan and execute business operations (own region P&L)Develop and execute strategies and annual work plans for the local teamManage local market relationships with key companies from the eCommerce ecosystemBe the face of BaseLinker in the region
