.At ING we are looking for a Senior Data ScientistYour role and work environment:We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics Team on the Customer Interactions and Monetization Tribe in Spain.The responsibility of this team is to develop all types of models and analytical products in the field of Machine Learning and Big Data context for the whole Retail Organization. Our way of working mirrors our eagerness to innovate and the agile methodologies are part of our daily routine.Your key responsibilities:As a Senior Data Scientist you will:Take charge of the end-to-end design and delivery of machine learning products across different departments in the bank, including AI/ML products such as credit risk decision-making models, churn, recommendation systems, NLP, income/expenses estimations, data categorization, clustering and segmentation, pricing, OCR, etc.Co-create and assess business with the best predictive solutions and work in a cross-functional and international team formed by business colleagues, data analysts, data scientists, and engineers.Ensure the designed product meets business requirements, brings the most value to clients, and complies with high coding and development standards.What are we looking for?We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Data Scientist who works closely with the business, understands the challenges, and proactively proposes solutions, defining the appropriate analytical solution for each challenge.Our ideal candidate will be:A value-oriented personWith a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.Demonstrable experience in data analysis, visualization, and building predictive models (especially supervised ones).Strong knowledge of languages such as SQL, Python, and distributed computing tools (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) as well as machine learning libraries.Familiar with Git for peer review and code repository.Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and comprehensibly, even for non-technical audiences.Teamwork skills and ability to tackle complex challenges.What do we offer?The time you spend at work, the challenges you face, or the lessons you learn are very important, but… what about your personal life?
