DevOps teams, however, do not always include systems development professionals responsible for improving site performance and reliability. This is where an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) comes into play.SREs are team players who embed themselves within product teams as needed to advance the architecture and performance of software systems and train their peers in topics such as debugging distributed systems, building self-healing applications, automation to eliminate toil, and ensuring availability to fuel the company's growth. The role will include working across the various services in the Digital Network, prioritising performance, scalability, and resilience of these products whilst working alongside engineering and product management teams.The Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer must have the ability to build relationships and influence at different levels of the organisation. They should help lead the team by example in relation to designing, building, and maintaining production services, and proven experience analysing and troubleshooting complex systems
