As a member of the Prime team, you will work closely with the business team to implement new features, use a variety of core languages and technologies, including Linux, and build highly scalable services to bring the Prime experience to a large variety of Amazon businesses.As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test on this team, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, testing new architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business, and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms. We are working with exciting new technologies and solving complex automation problems across platforms.If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, know how to deliver, are deeply technical, highly innovative, and long for the opportunity to build pioneering solutions to challenging problems, we want to talk to you.Key job responsibilities As Sr. SDET you will be responsible for building highly scaled systems that ensure Prime continues to delight customers worldwide.Lead the design and development of quality infrastructure that encourages the optimal combination of unit/component/integration and end-to-end tests.Collaborate with software engineering teams, driving continuous development, integration, and deployment.Work with Principal Engineers and other Senior engineers to develop best practices for software quality assurance across multiple software teams.Actively participate in cross-team design reviews.Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community.Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and expertise.Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.The key requirement for this position is established skill in designing and developing complex, interactive customer experiences.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 6+ years of experience in a test or development role as part of a product development organization that has delivered consumer-oriented products
