About the Role: As a Senior UX Architect, Publishing you will help our newsrooms connect with their platforms, both web and mobile, bringing your experience in usability, information design, and information architecture to create and document holistic experiences. This is a hybrid role based in our Barcelona office.
In this role you will move projects from concept to concrete solutions by optimizing experiences for our newsrooms, working with Product teams and the Manager of UX Architecture, Publishing to conceptualize solutions, map user flows, implement information architecture, build prototypes for testing, and create wireframes and detailed functional specs.
You Will: Collaborate with our newsrooms to understand and meet editorial goals.Create holistic navigational solutions that encourage site exploration.Think across multiple systems to solve cross-tool workflow issues.You Have: Experience working with Design Systems.Experience working with Agile.Experience working with Figma.At least 3-5+ years experience in a similar role.Experience in the design of News or Financial Services.Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and compliance.Knowledge of Services Design and Service Mapping.Experience with designing for CMS tools.Understanding of best practices for mobile, web-based and responsive design.Experience in user and screen flows, conceptual and detailed wireframing, and prototyping tools.A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience and UX skills.Reasonable accommodation: Dow Jones is committed to providing reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities, in our job application and/or interview process.
