Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.About the Role:The Data Privacy Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development, management, and monitoring processes to support the organization's compliance with applicable international, federal, and state regulations and guidelines, including the operational management of key privacy technologies such as the Consent Management Platform. You will work closely with internal teams to establish and maintain a culture of data privacy.This role is part of a team responsible for privacy and data governance work across the organization. You will collaborate with business, legal, product, and technology teams throughout the company and will help us build and support scalable tools and processes to ensure we maintain high standards and practices for data privacy management. You will work on projects related to ongoing compliance with data privacy laws, personal data use and digital products, AI, and related requirements. This position will report to the VP - Data Governance.Responsibilities Include:Engage with product, legal, engineering, marketing, and other departments to ensure data privacy considerations are considered early and integrated into business processes, project planning, and product development.Manage the Consent Management Platform (CMP) tool with updates, configurations, and reporting.Coordinate and collaborate with development teams on the implementation and QA of the CMP and other privacy-enhancing tools on our products
