Location: USA, Bangalore, Delhi Mode of Work: Remote Brief Overview of the Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our client, a distinguished IT services and consulting firm renowned for their comprehensive approach to solving modern business challenges. The role focuses on automating and optimizing operations and development processes. This position is critical for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations to meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and related tools to reduce deployment costs and increase efficiency. Implement cost-effective cloud solutions and optimize resource utilization across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes across multiple environments to ensure high availability and reliability for end-users. Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. Oversee automated testing to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security, reducing downtime and enhancing system performance. Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and resolve configuration issues quickly and efficiently. Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes to streamline development and production environments. Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve production issues. Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD processes, deployment guidelines, and operational procedures. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve DevOps practices and processes. Participate in training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge in cloud platforms and DevOps tools. Mentor and train junior team members to build a strong DevOps culture within the organization. Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay ahead of technological advancements and best practices. Technologies to be Used: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform Docker, Kubernetes AWS, Azure, GCP Python, Bash, Ansible Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are highly desirable. Certifications such as Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Jenkins, or Certified DevOps Professional are advantageous. Knowledge: Profound knowledge in cloud infrastructure, especially on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Strong understanding of scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, and Ansible. Skills: Expertise in using a wide range of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) including setting up, configuring, and optimizing. Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform). Strong command over containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages. Familiarity with network protocols and standards, including HTTP, REST, SSL. Attitude: Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making skills. Highly proactive team player with an innovative approach to technology deployment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Detail-oriented with a dedication to technical excellence and user satisfaction. Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and tools.
